Getting Started in 2011

2011 is in full swing, but I've yet to post a single blog this year. Although I wouldn't necessarily call it a New Year's resolution, I have decided to become more proactive when it comes to posting blogs and updating my other social networking. Part of that means determining how I can add more value to my posts. I will be putting extra work into my social networking sites, and also reevaluating the quality and frequency of my postings. I have some preliminary ideas and I hope to implement some of the changes in the next few weeks. I'm also working on putting out a new "Brian with an Eye", so keep an eye out.

Next week, I will be releasing writer's guidelines for two new anthologies I will be editing for Woodland Press. I'm also putting the final touches on my convention itinerary for this year. I will let everyone know where I will be as the dates are finalized.

Finally, I have doubled my efforts on the writing front, and am submitting stories left and right. 2010 was a very productive year, but I intend to top it in 2011. But to do that, I will need to increase my output and be more productive. I've already made steps to that end and plan to do much more.

I'll be announcing some new projects I am involved with what I am allowed to say more. They mean taking my career in new directions, and I can't wait to tell you all about them. I hope to do so soon.

2011 is rolling along. Now it's time to get rocking.
